Setup Review Automation
Automatically request reviews after positive customer interactions. Configure templates, set timing, and watch your online reputation grow.
1. Enable Review Automation
Go to Settings → Reviews and toggle Review Automation to On. This activates the review request pipeline. No messages will be sent until you configure templates and triggers.
1b. Set your branded subdomain
On the Reviews page, set a branded subdomain (required — for example acmeplumbing). Review SMS links always use https://acmeplumbing.elevateprospect.com/review. Cloudflare Path 2 (wildcard + Worker) must be live — see ops docs.
2. Configure Review Templates
In the Templates tab, create at least one review request message. Write something friendly and natural. Your template should include:
- A warm, personal greeting
- A specific ask (“Would you mind leaving us a quick review?”)
- Your review link (Google, Yelp, or custom platform)
- STOP opt-out language for TCPA compliance
Example Template
Hi {{first_name}}, thanks for visiting Oak Dental! We hope you had a great experience. If you have a moment, we'd love a quick review—it helps other families find us: https://g.page/r/YourPlaceID/review
Reply STOP to opt out of future texts.
You can use merge tags like {{first_name}} and {{business_name}} to personalize each message.
3. Set Review Request Schedule
Under Schedule, choose when review requests go out. Common options:
- After appointment: Send 2–4 hours after a completed appointment (via calendar integration)
- After positive chat: Trigger when a chatbot conversation ends on a positive note
- Manual batch: Upload a list of recent customer numbers and send requests in bulk
- Recurring: Send monthly review reminders to returning customers
Adjust the delay to suit your business. Restaurants and retail may prefer same-day requests. Services like dental or auto repair might want a 24-hour delay.
4. Configure Quiet Hours
Set quiet hours to prevent review requests from sending late at night. Go to Settings → Reviews → Quiet Hours and define your window. Messages queued during quiet hours will send the following morning.
5. View Results
Navigate to Reports → Reviews to see your review automation metrics:
- Requests sent: Total review request messages delivered
- Click-through rate: How many recipients clicked your review link
- Reviews received: New reviews attributed to your campaigns (if connected to Google/Yelp)
- Opt-out rate: Percentage of customers who replied STOP
Use these metrics to refine your templates and timing. If click-through is low, try a shorter message or a different call to action.
