Connect Google Review URL
Connect your Google Business Profile review link so Elevate Prospect can send customers directly to your review page with a single tap.
1. Find Your Google Place ID
Your Google Place ID is a unique identifier for your business on Google Maps. To find it:
- Go to the Google Place ID Finder.
- Search for your business name and address in the map.
- Click on your business location on the map.
- Copy the Place ID that appears below the map (it looks like
ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4).
Alternative method:
Search for your business on google.com/maps. Click “Write a review” on your listing. The URL in your browser will contain your review link—paste it into the Place ID Finder to extract the ID.
2. Connect Your Place ID
- In your Elevate Prospect dashboard, go to Settings → Reviews → Google Connection.
- Paste your Place ID into the Google Place ID field.
- Click Verify & Connect. The system will confirm the Place ID matches a valid Google Business Profile.
- Your review link will be auto-generated as
https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID.
3. Test Your Review Link
After connecting, click the Test Link button next to your Place ID. This opens the Google review form for your business in a new tab. Verify that:
- Your correct business name and address appear
- The star rating widget is interactive
- The “Write a review” form loads correctly
If the wrong business appears, you may have the wrong Place ID. Re-check using the Place ID Finder and try again.
4. Use the Review Link in Templates
Once connected, your Google review link is automatically available in your review templates as the merge tag {{google_review_url}}. Elevate Prospect will insert the correct link into every review request message. You can also use it in your chatbot’s knowledge base so the chatbot can share the review link when customers ask.
5. Troubleshooting
Place ID not found
Make sure you’re copying the full Place ID and that your business is verified on Google. New listings can take up to 48 hours to appear in the Place ID system.
Review link shows wrong business
You may have selected the wrong pin on the map. Search again with your full business name and exact address.
Multiple locations
Each location has a unique Place ID. If you have multiple locations, connect each one as a separate agent in your Amp plan. Each agent can have its own Google review link.
