Connect Calendly
Connect your Calendly account so customers can book appointments directly through your Elevate Prospect chatbot and SMS conversations.
1. Get Your Calendly Link
Log into your Calendly account. Navigate to your event type (e.g. “30 Minute Meeting” or “Consultation Call”). Click Share and copy the scheduling link. It should look like:
https://calendly.com/your-business-name/30min
2. Connect to Elevate Prospect
- In your Elevate Prospect dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Calendly.
- Paste your Calendly scheduling link into the Scheduling URL field.
- (Optional) Paste your Calendly personal access token for deeper integration. Generate one at Calendly → Integrations → API & Webhooks.
- Click Connect. The system will verify the link is valid.
Personal access token benefits:
With a token connected, Elevate Prospect can check real-time availability from your Calendly account and confirm bookings directly in the conversation. Without it, the chatbot will share the link and the customer will book through Calendly’s interface.
3. Test Scheduling
Open the Test Chat panel and ask the chatbot to book an appointment. Verify that:
- The chatbot recognizes the booking intent
- It shares the correct Calendly link (or shows available times if using a token)
- The link opens your Calendly booking page correctly
- Test bookings appear in your Calendly dashboard
4. Configure Booking Flow
In Settings → Integrations → Calendly → Booking Flow, customize how the chatbot handles appointment requests:
- Pre-booking questions: Add questions the chatbot asks before sharing the link (e.g. service type, preferred day/time)
- Confirmation message: The message sent after a booking link is shared
- Reminder SMS: Automatically send a reminder text 24 hours before the appointment
- Follow-up: Send a review request after the appointment time has passed
5. Multiple Event Types
If you offer different services with different Calendly event types, add each one in Settings → Integrations → Calendly → Event Types. Give each a name the chatbot can recognize (e.g. “New Patient Consultation” or “Follow-up Visit”). The chatbot will match customer intent to the right event type automatically.
